きこりの家にやってきました。

「山を降りて町にいって、代わりにだれかをいらいらさせてくれないか？

「ちょうどここの南東に城があるから。
Why don't you 〜 は 直訳すると「なぜしないの？」だけど「〜したらどうですか？」という意味になります。
逆説的な表現を使うとは、北米版でも本当の親父はあいかわらずひねくれものです。
親父の言うとおり、山を降りてブランカ城にやってきました。
