6章に関してはここではやりませんが、移民の町が最終形態になりました。

結局池の近くにいたカエルはなんと王様だったようです。

この文章には一見ifがありませんが、仮定法のifが省略されているのでちょっと訳しにくいです。

仮定法のWere、Had、Shouldなどがif節にある時、if節を省略でき、動詞と主語の位置が入れ変わります。
