それにしてもこのペースでやっててドラクエ９出る前に終わるのか！？
Chapter 4: Meena and Maya and the Mahabala Mystery
北米版の4章、名前はこんなかんじです。
Meena→ミネア
Maya→マーニャ
Mahabala→エドガン（ミネアとマーニャの父、錬金術師）
ナレーション
「This is the tale of two beautiful sisters on a mission to avenge their father's death.
「これは父の敵を討つ計画中の2人の美しい姉妹の物語です。
「The eldest is a dancer named Maya, and her younger sister, Meena, is a fortune-teller.
「姉はマーニャという踊り子です、そして、妹ミネアは占い師です。
「Their adventure begins in the entertainment capital of Libeccio, Laissez Fayre.
「彼らの冒険はエンターテインメントの中心地、リベッコ、ラシズファーレ（モンバーバラ）から始まります。

「Hiya, Maya. Well? How did it go? Did you get a result?
「はーい、マーニャ。えっと？どうだった？わかったことある？
Hiya!
“Hello, there”を省略して、フレンドリーにしたフレーズ。親しい友人などに愛想を振り撒きたいときに使用する挨拶。
Maya（マーニャ）
「Arey, it was awful-awful. Not one of the customers looked even a little bit rich.
「ねぇ、これはひどいひどい。 すこしも金持ちそうな客なんていなかったわ。
Meena（ミネア）
「No! You're not understanding me! I'm talking about Balzack, innit?
（No! You're not understanding me! I'm talking about Balzack, isn't it?
「ちがうわよ！私の言ってることわかってないわね! 私はバルザックのことをいっているのよ。ね？
innit
“isn't it”を省略した形。フレーズのあとに付け加えて「イニッ！」と発音し、人に同意を求める。
「Was that despicable criminal there tonight?
「その卑劣な犯罪者は今夜、そこにいた?
Maya（マーニャ）
「Oh! Sorry, sis. No, Balzack wasn't there.
「ああ! ごめんね、妹。 いや、バルザックはいなかったわ。
Meena（ミネア）
「Oh...
「ああ・・・
Manager Artois
「Do not be dis'eartened, my petite amie.
（Do not be disheartened, my petite amie.
「がっかりしないでください、 私のちいさな女友達。
フランス語 petite [形]〈女性が〉小柄な；〈女性の衣類などが〉小さい. amie [名]（複〜s /〜/） (フランス語)（女の）友だち；恋人. amiの女性形.
「You will find 'im.
（You will find him.
「あなたは彼を見つけるでしょう。
「All in good time.
「（時が来れば）そのうちに。
フランス語にはh（アッシュ）を発音しないためhが'になってるんだと思います。
「'Ere is your money for ze work of today...
（Here is your money for the work of today...
「これは、今日の仕事のぶんのあなたの給料だ・・・
フランス語も日本とおなじでthの発音が無いのでthがzになってますね。
「Meena and Maya receive 100 gold coins.
「ミネアとマーニャは100ゴールドを受け取った。

「I was 'oping you would stay.
（I was hoping you would stay.
「あなた達がいてくれたらなと願っていました。
「Ze crowd go wild for you.

「みんなが、あなたに夢中です。
「But I cannot stand in ze way of your mission of vengeance.

「でも、あなたの復讐の計画を邪魔をするわけにはいかない。

「今夜、ここで休んで明日の朝出発してください。 お気をつけて、私の娘。じゃあまた!
mes filles（フランス語）→my daughters Adieu さようなら，ごきげんよろしゅう. フランス語のAdiosから来ている。
こうしてミネアとマーニャとフランスなまりの旅が始まるのでした。
とりあえず、踊り子の服(Danser's costume)は売っておいた。
