というわけで1章に入りました。

北米版は、こんな絵がはいります！（ちょっとゴージャス！）

ライアンは北米版でRagnar McRyanっていうのか！？
case は　「場合」のほかに事件とか事例の意味もあります。

とりあえずバトランドの王様の話をちゃんと聞いてみようと思います！

？？なんじゃこりゃ？
見たことない単語！？というか単語が間違ってる？

とはじめは思ったんだけど、wikiによると1章のバトランド（Burnard）では、a Scottish English speaking landとなっていて、スコットランド英語をしゃべるとのことなんです。。

またまたスコットランド語のwikiによると、中英語から分離した言語で、英語とはごく近い関係にあり、スコットランド英語の中に含める場合もある。とのことです。つづりは若干ちがうだけ。

たとえば
"About" → "Aboot"
"Music" → "Muisic"
"Welcome" → "Walcome"
"History" → "Historie"
"Philosophy" → "Philosophie"
"Religion" → "Releegion"

つまり、見たことない単語はある程度、ぽいのに置き換えればよめるかんじなのかな？

言い回しがちょっと独特なんで難しい。。。
あってんのか？けっこう間違っている可能性大。。
